Zelensky Demands US Pressure on Russia and 800.000 Strong Army
Zelensky has stated that Ukraine’s best security guarantee is a large army of 800.000 soldiers after the war. He has added however that Ukraine alone cannot fund such an army and it needs the help of it’s partners, at least in the beginning. Zelensky has also stated that he expects the US to put full pressure on Russia if Vladimir Putin doesn’t engage in diplomacy. Manfred Webber has stated that the Russian frozen assets will still be used one day to repay for the damages caused by Russia in Ukraine.
