The romance of Theo and Frank is so intrinsically familiar and the natural setting is haunting and simply beautiful in a truly memorable way. This story sticks in my mind and never seems to lose its luster.

When I wrote the song "Waywardly Lad", The Secret Path was the only film out of my entire repertoire that came to mind. I think it is a perfect fit.
