Spectacular day for a Railcart ride - (SD&AE) - Railway

A tour of the fabulous CARRIZO GORGE RAILROAD, ride in Railcart o (zorrita). we left from the water tank where the DOS CABEZAS station was located, today in southern California, USA. I was also accompanied by two friends, Alex and David, and we headed towards the GOAT CANYON TRESTLE, but unfortunately you can not get there by Railcart because of a landslide in the portal of tunnel #16, which is next to the Goat Canyon viaduct, but you can get to the bridge by going around the mountain, the distance from Dos Cabezas to tunnel #16 is 7 miles (11 km), and all uphill with gradients of 2%. The road is quite good, despite the fact that it has been many years without maintenance, a spectacular but at the same time desolate and very arid landscape, I do not recommend it in summer, the heat is extreme, well enjoy this tour aboard the ZORRITO RAILCART !!

EN ESPAÑOL:un recorrido por el fabuloso CARRIZO GORGE RAILROAD, en la Zorrita o ( Railcart), salimos desde el tanque de agua de donde se encontraba la estación DOS CABEZAS,hoy En el sur de California. USA. también me acompañan dos amigos ,Alex y David, y nos dirigimos hacia el GOAT CANYON TRESTLE, pero lamentablemente no se puede llegar en el Railcart, por causa de un derrumbe en el portal del túnel #16, que esta junto al viaducto goat canyon , pero se puede llegar al puente rodeando la montaña , la distancia desde Dos Cabezas hasta el túnel #16 , es de 7 millas (11 km),y todo de subida con pendientes del 2%. la vía se encuentra bastante bien ,a pesar que lleva muchos años sin mantenimiento, un paisaje espectacular pero a las vez desolador y muy árido, no recomiendo en verano, el calor es extremo, bueno a disfrutar de este recorrido a borde del ZORRITO RAILCART!!
