From 3d printed molds to a carbon fiber fuselage:
In today´s episode, we will focus on the fuselage surface. Since it came out of the mold, there was a lot of work involved to achieve a soft surface finish on the fuselage in preperation to further work from the inside and the final paintjob. Follow me around suffering to get that done.
The Carbon fiber fuselage had many tiny holes on the surface after demolding, this is due to the poor craftmansship i had during the casting process. But! Its fun to learn and work on this to get the best result.
