I love my Huayee HY16C — it’s powerful, affordable, and honestly a great machine for the money… but I discovered one serious flaw that almost no one talks about along with a couple other smaller problems. This main issue could actually be dangerous if you’re not prepared for it.

In today’s video, I break down the things I don't like about the HY16C after using it commercially, AND the one safety problem that shocked me the most: the machine’s ability to freewheel downhill if you’re not on the controls. Higher-end excavators have safety valves that prevent this — this one doesn’t.

This is NOT a hate video. I support this machine and think it’s a fantastic value, but operators deserve to know this hidden danger so they can stay safe. I also share simple tips, real-world examples, and ways to prevent this issue from becoming a serious accident.
