How I Forged 10.5lbs of American Inspired axes!

Published at : 23 Dec 2025

My first attempt at making some American Pattern axes, a 4lb double bit and a 5lb single bit axe, I've always been a fan of all the variety in patterns and nuances between them.
A nice change from the smaller more intricate carving axes I make day to Day.
