Forging a Shoe Horn

Published at : 23 Dec 2025

What's up everybody!?! I'm making "last minute gifts" you can give to those people in your life who appreciate something a little rustic. In this video, I forge a shoe horn out of half-inch square stock. I start with a piece about 2.5 feet long so I can hold onto it without tongs, but you can also scale this project as short or as long as you'd like. The extra details like the fuller marks and the twists are obviously also optional, but I think give the piece a lot of character. Let me know what you think!

Also, no music this time around. I did use a noise dampener on my editing software to deal with some of the car noise, so sorry about any distortion! Let me know in the comments if you like the videos with or without music!
