Briggs Standby Generator Delivers

I found this Briggs and Stratton standby generator on Craigslist for only $150. The seller says he no longer needs it and it ran when last tested. It sounds too good to be true. Lets go through the machine and try it out.

A subscriber @jmtracmach is looking for detailed information on how to rewind his stator. That is something I have looked for many times and failed. If you have detailed plans on rewinding a single phase or 3 phase generator complete with details on the DPE winding, auxiliary winding and wire gauge calculations needed based on voltage and amp output requirements etc, please send that information along. I no longer use Harbor Freight Super Heavy Duty Degreaser in my ultrasonic cleaner. Harbor Freight changed the recipe. The bottle previously stated "NON-CORROSIVE". Now it says "CORROSIVE", "do not user on Aluminum". It now damages most carburetors. Recently I have been using Simple Green PRO HD with good results.
