A Decade of Burning Bush and Overgrowth, Pushed Back in One Job

In this project, I tackled years of invasive burning bush, vines, and tangled brush that had been slowly overtaking the edges of a homeowner’s yard in Glastonbury, CT. After a decade of creeping growth, mowing had become a challenge and the lawn was losing ground to the woods.

Using my Kubota KX040 excavator equipped with an Indeco IMH4 forestry mulcher, I pushed back the overgrowth, cleared out deadfall, and restored a clean boundary between yard and woods. What took nature years to create was cleared in a single job, leaving behind a neat, open edge ready for maintenance again.
