10% More Range: New Tires Reduce Energy Consumption and Friction!

This is the new ENSO tire and it has some pretty amazing properties. AND, it might be the only tire Prince William has ever changed himself in his life – but that’s not what today is about. This tire is seriously impressive: it was originally developed specifically for electric vehicles, it is particularly energy-efficient and improves range by 10 percent, and on top of that, the tire is also supposed to significantly reduce particulate matter pollution. The reason: Every year, vehicles worldwide release an incredible six million tons of tire particles. I had the opportunity to speak with the company's CEO personally and was able to clarify what makes these tires so different and why the tires on electric cars in particular cause so much particulate matter pollution.
