In order for us to store the water we plan to pump from our creek, we needed to find a water tank. In our area, we can find used tanks for about $1 per gallon of storage. After many months of searching, this tank showed up on Facebook Marketplace. The seller did not know the exact capacity of the tank, but was guessing is was between 2,500 and 3,000 gallons- it turns out to be just over 4,000! The seller was willing to add an old snowplow to the deal and we got everything for $3,000! This is only the start of our off-grid water project!
