Geographically, Armenia is located in a tough region. To its west is Turkey, a country its had a long and very challenging relationship with. And to its east is Azerbaijan, a country its had a more recent but very violent history with. Armenia is crammed in between both of these countries. It's a delicate balance and one that Armenia doesn't usually come out on top of. Despite it all, the country has managed to mostly maintain its whole self through the decades.

In this video, Geoff and Alexa are heading south to explore the borderlands region between these three countries. This will include seeing the region's most famous mountain Mt Ararat, two more monasteries (if you can believe it!), and the borders of both Turkey and Azerbaijan, including what they look and feel like. They'll even drive through a tiny Azerbaijan exclave that most people don't know exists at all!
