In this video, we test launching an RC plane using two different methods to see which works best.
First up: a pneumatic piston launcher, which performed even better than we expected, sending the plane into the air with surprising ease.
Next, we tried launching the RC plane with two rocket engines strapped underneath for a more dramatic takeoff. Despite a slight motor malfunction mid-launch, the rocket-powered method still worked, giving us some thrilling footage.
If you’re curious about building your own RC plane launcher, or just want to see the chaos (and success) of rocket launches, you’ll enjoy this test session.
