Here's two reasons to ditch the manual transmission in your Nissan Skyline GT-R in favor of either a ZF 8-speed torque converter automatic or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. In a stock or lower power scenario, I'd keep the original 5-speed manual to preserve the GT-R dream we all grew up with but once power hits 600-700 HP at the wheels, these two options begin to look quite enticing.
