The 2025 Big Sugar Gravel capped off another season of the Life Time Grand Prix. If anyone hoped for a calm finale, Bentonville had other plans; between the impending storm and rumors of a tornado warning, the abbreviated 50-mile elite race meant that the elite and pro bikes of the race had to be prepared for anything and everything.
While we covered the biggest storylines from Big Sugar here, we would be remiss to not mention the men’s and women’s elite races were shortened due to inclement weather. While the race started on time, threats of heavy rain, lightning, and even rumors of a possible tornado warning brought some confusion to the course and racers alike.
