In the last video, we started the main framework for our Rollcage on the 4500 Ultra4 Jeep JK build. While i was down in Texas for a quick trip for my Coast Guard Reserve job, a few boxes from RPM Steering were delivered!
We are running a custom aluminum steering from RPM. 1.75" solid alum on both the Tie rod and Drag Link offers weight savings as well as offering a substantial upgrade in regards to bend resistance. Like ive mentioned in other videos, i think aluminum steering is the best way to go for an offroad steering setup. RPM offers bolt on steering, as well as the ability to custom order to your lengths and specs.

We are also installing their new 12" corner stretch aluminum armor! This kit is offered with rocker armor as well as front fender armor, and hopefully we will get those on as time allows. Compared to other stretch armor offerings, this setup is much more budget friendly and will offer us plenty of tub protection without adding a ton of weight.

We then moved back to the cage, fitting a ton of tubing and making major progress!
