The Tragic Tale of Perry Baker: Explore his Abandoned House

This house was built in the early 1900's by Leonard Harper. He lived here with his wife and one son. They moved back to the United States and rented the farmland and house to Perry Baker in 1923.
Perry and his wife Martha have 5 sons. Two died at childbirth and another son at only 12 years old.
At 51, Perry was suffering from Pneumonia and at times became delusional. On the morning of February 19th, 1938 at 7:00am, Perry grabbed his shotgun, walked out to the backyard and ended his suffering.
Perry I buried next to his sons in the nearby Retlaw Cemetery.
Martha and her 2 sons "Stuck it out" on the farm for a while.
The house was rented and last lived in by the Lickiss family in 1971. The house has been abandoned ever since.
