Suzuki RMX250: The Two-Stroke Enduro That Wasn’t a Trail Bike!
Motocross got sharper. Trail bikes got heavier. In 1989 Suzuki built a loophole: the RMX250, an RM250 trained to survive the woods. Wide-ratio five-speed, heavier flywheel, lighting coil, bigger tank… and a 249cc two-stroke with a power valve that pulled hard down low, then kicked when you pushed it. This is why riders argued about it, why it vanished in 1998, and why the few who know still hunt it today. If you grew up on KDXs and XRs, this one feels different: sharper, tougher, and strangely honest. R-M-X two-fifty.
