Surprise! NOAA 15 Is Still Alive (For Now)

Published at : 23 Dec 2025

This is probably my final look at the NOAA 15 satellite, which will be shut down the week of August 18th 2025.

I'm also working on hacking a Winegard Trav'ler Pro satellite TV antenna to look at weather satellites on the microwave L-Band. Some more info and code for this dish can be found here: https://github.com/saveitforparts/Travler-Pro-Rotor

You can find the 3D Printed Helicone antenna here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6436342
