Sunk! Hallberg-Rassy Rescue. #Boatbreakers joined Baker Trayte Marine and RS Divers to film the salvage operation in Portsmouth Harbour of this Hallberg-Rassy 42 Yacht. Her owner had called and said that his much loved Hallberg-Rassy 42 had suddenly sunk overnight on her mooring. Two days later the Baker Trayte barge was alongside the wreck complete with crane and RS Divers dive team to try and get her back floating.
It's every boat owner's nightmare. A classic Hallberg-Rassy 42 sank during a the night leaving this beautiful 15 tonne yacht fully submerged. Could she be raised and will she float again?
