The hotrod world has been using corvette suspension for their builds for many years. This is mainly due to the double wishbone suspension setup on both the front and rear along with great ergonomics and a good braking system. These suspension systems are typically used to update the classic cars and trucks to a more suitable handling platform. The C5 and C6 platform was more what I was looking for.
This is basically what I am going for only with the need to narrow the front suspension section to give me the narrow single seater look. With the need to lengthen the A arms there came a need to widen them as well to give strength to match the added length. The A arms will be built on a future video. I plan to use the original rear suspension A arms in the back which will save me some time and money.
I hope this video gives you some understanding on making a suspension jug to use suspension geometry from a different vehicle.
