Specialized Diverge 4.0 review: Is this the sweet spot for gravel?

Published at : 23 Dec 2025

A refined, hydraulic Future Shock, expanded tire clearance (50mm with 8mm of clearance - so yes, 2.2in will fit), a longer wheelbase and expanded storage are a few of the new features on the fourth generation of the Specialized Diverge gravel bike.

I talk with Peter Sagan about his experience over the years with the Future Shock, and I share my experience testing the bike over two days in Slovenia.
