One wrong move and we’re scrapping a part worth thousands! This week we’re working on a pair of track adjuster cannons from a Caterpillar D10 Dozer track frame, with bearing sleeves that are rusted, damaged, and well past their use-by date. The plan sounds simple… gouge the old sleeves off and fit new ones… but there’s no room for mistakes here. If Kurtis gouges too deep into the main cannon, it’s game over. And if the new sleeve doesn’t fit just right, it’s coming back off the hard way. This one’s all about careful gouging, clean fits, and making sure these cannons are ready to go back to work!
