Project to restore abandoned self-propelled crane for many years // Turning scrap into masterpieces P1
Welcome to my Restoration Skills channel !
🔧 RESTORATION PROCESS INCLUDES:
Vehicle survey & salvage:
The vehicle was found buried deep in mud, the rear wheels were bent, the body was rusted, moss and plants covered it.

Transport to the workshop:
Use a specialized vehicle and pulley to pull the vehicle out of the swamp and bring it to the garage.

Damage analysis:

The cabin was completely rotten.

The hydraulic system of the crane had broken shaft.

The engine died due to water and rust.

The chassis was rotten, especially at the welds.

Proceed with restoration:

Disassemble all parts.

Clean, derust and replace damaged components.

Rebuild the frame, electrical system, change engine oil, maintain the gearbox and hydraulics.

Repaint the vehicle (follow the original color or completely renew).

Test start and load test:
After many days of recovery, the engine started again. The crane worked smoothly, the actual load test was successful.

📌 SPECIAL FEATURES:
The car was abandoned for over 10 years, without original technical documents.

Completely restored by hand with recycled old components and traditional engineering skills.
