Old But Gold! Land Cruiser Legends in Botswana. Exploring Chobe, Savuti, Linyanti and Ihaha

With the Okavango Delta in our Rear View Mirrors, we set our sights on the Chobe Region of Botswana, entering the National Park at the Mababe Gate, and heading to Savuti for our first night, we wont be staying long before heading to Linyanti, but Savute ended up delivering beautiful scenery, wildlife sightings and some great adventure on a 4x4 trail up the hill to get a better perspective of the area. On to Linyanti, we tackle an incredibly thick sandy road, infamous for working the vehicles really hard! The Land Cruisers have really performed so well, and arriving at camp in Linyanti was a special surprise, overlooking the chobe river with lush riverine forest around us, perfect! The next day we will make our way to the Chobe Riverfront, where get right down onto the chobe river, where it explodes with majestic wild life, crocodiles, hippo's, too many birds to count, and of course incredible Lion Sightings! Botswana has truly reminded us why it remains one of the top overlanding destinations in southern africa! What an epic adventure!
