https://www.tiktok.com/@drrestoration?lang=enIn this video I restore a boat trailer that I got for free when I purchased the boat. The trailer was a galvanized steel trailer that needed a lot of love and left me stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire on my way home from picking it up!
To start I wanted to change the wheel hubs as both sides the bearings were completely ruined. I replaced the hubs with pre-greased hubs and I also put on new wheels and tires.
Next I restored the coupler and began dismantling the entire trailer. Once everything was apart I ground all the surfaces with a wire wheel and then powder coated the small parts and primed and painted the large parts with farm and implement gloss black paint from Tractor Supply.
Finally with many new and refurbished parts it came together and turned out quite good!
