In this video, I’m testing a new clear coat and using the Porphis PRD 815 spray gun on a real repair job — repainting a bumper and blending into both fenders.
I’ll walk you through the entire process step-by-step, including:
• Prepping the bumper cover
• Applying sealer
• Spraying base coat
• Blending into the fenders
• And finally, clear coating with this new product
Everything looked great at first — the gloss was on point, the blend was clean… but the final results? Not exactly what I expected.
This is part review, part tutorial, and all real-world experience. I’ll also share a simple trick to get a cleaner paint job in less-than-ideal conditions, and talk through some of the adjustments I’m still making with the Porphis PRD 815.
