In this episode we look at how I set up the iPads as home controllers in the hallway and bedroom and how they are powered by the old alarm system keypad wiring. We discuss the wall frame that I chose to mount the iPads. Then we talk about why I chose Hubitat Elevation as my home automation controller instead of Smart Things or HomeKit. We also discuss the current setup as it stands and what my goal is for it in the future.
