My First FPV Event… And I Wasn’t Ready

Six months ago, I wouldn’t dare fly in front of another FPV drone pilot. Flying alone was safe—no pressure, no judgment, just me and the drone. But today? That all changes.
I showed up to a real FPV drone event, surrounded by experienced pilots who have been flying for years. I could feel the pressure. My hands were shaking, my heart was racing, and for the first time, I wasn’t sure if I could handle it.

Would I crash immediately? Would I embarrass myself in front of everyone?
