The $600 gamble has some MAJOR Cylinder Problems! It's finally time to see if they're EVEN Fixable!!
~
This is my Massey Ferguson 50HX Backhoe Loader that I rescued from the side of a corn field a few years back! This machine has a 4 cylinder Perkins diesel engine that runs BEAUTIFULLY! It's 4wd and it has a manually locked rear differential, so it should be pretty HARD to get stuck... ASSUMING everything is working... But everything is NOT working!
We fixed the hydraulic pump that wasn't hooked up to the engine, and once we got it fixed a MOUNTAIN of leaks showed themselves! It's time to DIG into the hydraulic cylinders and see if we can fix them!
Do you think the cylinders are rebuild-able? What problems HAVEN'T we found? Will we blow any hydraulic lines? Or can we make this old beast dig today? I guess we'll find out together!
Do you think my gamble will pay off or did I buy a piece of junk that really SHOULD head off to the scrapyard?
Please enjoy! I know I did!

If you know where I can find a pair of NEW or USED Swing Cylinders for a Massey Ferguson 50H, 50HX, or 60HX Backhoe Loader, please send me an email at: salvageworkshop@gmail.com
The part number for the Swing Cylinders is: 1605262M9131F04
Any help finding these cylinders or a parts tractor would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!
