Join me for a special Mondays with Mei. today we are going to do a special edition of Monday makes rather than finish it Friday this week because it is the last Monday before Christmas. today I want to talk about quick last minute Holiday décor and/or gift items to have around for the unexpected guests and/or donations.
Today we look at some crochet Angels cute and fast free YouTube tutorial designed by crochet jewel, 2 different angels. also, cute and quick plushie holiday amigurumi free patterns from premier yarns, gingerbread man and candy cane..
Also, free hat pattern 33 from ravelry made out of a super bulky yarn in just 33 rounds. she believes it can be completed in about 3 hours. I did not time mine. i think it would be great to have a couple of these around for the holidays for unexpected guests and gifts. And if they are not used at your celebrations, they are very thick because they are a super bulky yarn and cables, and they would make great donations for the homeless with only a few hours of work.. i used Millhouse super bulky, a 100% acrylic machine wash tumble dry yarn. I believe it's possible This is a discontinued yarn. the pattern designer said she was able to complete hers with one skein of the Rowan, big wool. i believe you could also use lion brand wool ease thick and quick for this project and/or the knitpicks we crochet new mighty stitch super bulky.
. The second half of the video is personal. It's Mondays with may because December 22nd it's a birthday of Rosie. My third German shepherded guide dog. rosie was very special to me. She passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 6 on March 11th 2012. when Rosie died, she took a big piece of my heart. She was my eyes, my best friend. My child all wrapped in to one furry and really funny package. i always remember her birthday. It's a very special day to me, and I just wanted to share some of her pictures in some of my rosy memories with you all . i have these pictures on my phone. However, I do not have the text skills to do a voiceover and describe them and I always want to describe my pictures for other people who are visually impaired. as I lose more sight, it gets very challenging for me to recognize my own photos, and if they were not my photos, I wouldn't even know what's going on in them. And so I know other people, even if they're not totally blind other people who have visioned impairments would struggle to recognize other people's pictures if they are not described, they would not necessarily know what's happening in them. So it's a little bit of a struggle for me to see them and describe them, but I want descriptions for other visually impaired people plus I know that I'll enjoy listening to this in the future when or if I can no longer see my pictures at all.
