Moab’s Best Overland Trail Ended Badly | Overland Guide

Published at : 23 Dec 2025

Moab’s best overland trail pushed my stock Jeep Rubicon and DIY camper to the limit… and it ended badly. This first overland trip guide shows what happens when you tow a trailer deep into Moab’s backcountry — from slickrock climbs to incredible campsites, and even a Trail Mater recovery.

This guide has moments you’ve never seen in an overland or off-road video… tell me if I’m wrong.

TrailsOffroad:
They DO NOT PAY me to promote them. It's just that the other company pays EVERYONE to promote them... even tried to get us. My "OnX vs" videos explain why I couldn't take their lucrative deal and recommend GAIA and TrailsOffroad instead. TrailsOffroad gave me a discount code and that does help us if you use it. Do the FREE trial first, then come back and use our discount code. https://trailsoffroad.com/all-access?fpr=colorado_mallcrawlers&coupon=colorado_mallcrawlers

I did my research and found affordable, water PROOF, and reliable winches. Reached out and got a discount code for our community. Use "Mallcrawlers" for a discount.

TrailRax and Kenda support the channel with products and are recommended. Unfortunately, we have no discounts for them yet.
