This has been such a cold and snowy December already, and we're not sure how it always seems to sneak up on us, but it does. We finally finished walling the first half of the lean-to which will help keep the snow from blowing and drifting in. Finley even braved the cold to help us complete this side. So thankful for her help and we had a ton of fun working together! It turned out great and we'll eventually get to doing the same exact thing to the other side. Maybe if and when it warms up a bit!
It's always nice to end a busy work week relaxing in the treehouse, but that's not exactly how our week ended.
Our brand new drone ended up 80 feet into a pine tree and I distinctly remember saying "there was a time (not long ago) that I would've been crying over this."
That recon mission was a success, until Ted came back in the house 30 minutes later and said "we've got a little bit of a situation here."
Needless to say, there were lots of mistakes made and lessons learned in a VERY short amount of time.
Everything ended up being fine, so we're counting our blessings and thanking God for that! We hope you have a wonderful weekend and we'll see you on the next one!
