This is the second part of the video about how I automated heating in my house in Home Assistant, using thermostatic valves on the radiators, and hacked boiler to control the heating water temperature.
In the first video, I explained how the heating works, installed the thermostatic valves controlled by Z-Wave, and hooked it to Home Assistant and showed the modification to the boiler.
In this video, I walk through the automation - designing the dashboard, controlling the temperature based on the presence info and time of the day, different heating modes. And the AppDaemon automation script that makes this whole thing work - automatically turns the boiler off and on and sets the target temperature on the radiators.
