Moving along on the Jeep Wrangler JK King of the Hammers build, its time to knock out a ton of projects. In this video, we install our LS3 Intake manifold and 102mm throttle body from Holley, as well as the included fuel rails in the kit. Next up, we turn to some parts from TMR Customs, we used their 32 Gal fuel cell mount which fit together perfectly and will give us a strong and compact mounting base. Next up it was time to support our Atlas Transfercase with the TMR mount. Its always a good idea to have additional mounting support, and the TMR mount makes it super easy to support the rear tcase with this DIY kit. As long as you have a crossmember to mount it to, its a very straightforward project that will help support your entire drivetrain better.
Finally, we got our tires and wheels mounted! The wheels were an easy choice.. Raceline makes amazing wheels, and their beadlocks are one of the best in my opinion. The new Ryno beadlock not only looks good, but is a proven design that can handle major abuse. According to Ultra4 rules, 4500 class vehicles are limited to 37" DOT approved tires, so a set of Nitto Trail Grapplers fit the bill! They are an iconic tire, that has also proved its success at KOH.
