In this video I'll show you a time lapse build of the Lull DLG from FlightPoint. The Lull is a beginner-friendly discus launch glider with a wing span of 1.2m designed for 2-channel control, meaning rudder and elevator.
The kit includes laser-cut balsa & plywood parts, carbon fiber rods & tubes, accessories pack (wing bolts, tailplane bolts, pull cable, crimp tubes, 3D-printed tailplane mount, CNC GF control horns, etc.) and a full-size printed plan.
If you check the definition of the word "Lull" you'll see that the name say's it all: A lull is a period of quiet or calm in a longer period of activity or excitement.
So the Lull is designed for relaxing RC flying with a low level of technical equipment involved, most importantly without a motor, purely relying on the skills of the pilot in discus launching the plane, finding and using thermals.
