Welcome to Day 1 of Many, on a series about LEARNING MESHTASTIC. I have confidence in my unique approach at learning and teaching by building (thanks Molson)

NOTES FROM THE LIVESTREAM (I did things wrong, and that's okay, when we are learning. I will sacrifice making mistakes and possibly damaging my gear, so you don't. )
In no order:
1. the antenna cannot slide onto the antenna port, then slide through the amazing case. i said it look as if it could.
2. The case really is amazing! AlleyCat made several different button versions and explains the following at printables: There are 4 options for button configuration, reset button is always low:
A - Middle button is higher
B - Side button is higher
C - Both buttons are higher
D- No buttons are higher
I am uncertain if she knows this or not, but instead of just a convenience factor, it really has the potential to help Vision impaired individuals use the buttons, with a reference point of which button is which. Vision impaired people can utilize meshtastic, yes.
3. The nut on the antenna port is NOT needed. Although It appears I was receiving info from other nodes, The antenna sits better without the nut in the slot. This is backed by AlleyCats instructions (that say READ ME) - "This one doesn't require you to remove the SMA nut to install"
4. The 18650 battery cannot have a nipple / battery terminal / Consumer tip on the positive end
More, surely. The goal is to build, learn, and share...and I did about 1 of those right.. almost :)
What I will like to do is to take 5 minutes at the beginning of the next stream, to go over those points, so that when we move on, we keep it clean and informative.

During this series, over multiple lessons and Days, we will do the following (no specific order):
1. Learn about what meshtastic is, by building a node
2. Learn how to configure our node
3. Individually showcase different Meshtastic devices
4. Learn about and compare antennas
5. Learn how to build antennas, learn about free files available for printing cases and accessories for Meshtastic.
6. Discuss what meshtastic is, learn about it's advantages and disadvantages, channel encryption, and how meshtastic can become better.
Kindness and community participation is encouraged.
I also encourage you to NOT purchase any Nodes or units until you've had the chance to watch all the videos. Some will be livestreams and some will be normal episodes
