The Ace Pro 2 is a powerhouse of an Action Camera from Insta360 offering filming up to 8k resolution.
As a running vlogger I am always looking at ways to make sure my content keeps improving. I absolutely LOVE the Insta360 Go 3 S, but it has a few shortcomings such as battery life, the ability to shoot in high frame rate 4k, and it's performance in low light.
In buying the Insta360 Ace Pro 2, I was hoping to address these factors and have a camera that will compliment my use of the Go 3S rather than replace it.
I have put the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 through extensive use since I got the camera in April 2025 including testing it in very windy conditions in Lanzarote, as well as during loud atmospheric races in London.
In this review I go over all the features of the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 action camera that I regularly use. I don't cover 'every' feature and mode, choosing to focus on the ones I use most often.
I also briefly look at it's performance as a stills camera as well as being a webcam.
