We visited one of Florida’s most remote towns, Everglades City. Located deep in Everglades National Park at the mouth of the Ten Thousand Islands, Everglades City has a history of scandal, drug smuggling, and hurricanes. Yet somehow the city of 400 is still standing. We went to see what it’s like and understand how it evolved.
