About this video I had a time window while I waited for my editor to work on my book, so I decided to use it to renovate my basement into a small guest apartment. This required some light demolition, the pouring of 10 tons of concrete and the installation of electrics, plumbing and heat recovery.
The entire build (approx 35sqm) cost me about £10,000 (€12k) and I am super happy with the result. We have been using it for about a year, and it has been a great resource for family and friends.
