Extreme Car Dent Repair Saved With Paintless Dent Removal (PDR)
This door certainly ticked the box for a replacement which I advised, but my friend really didn’t want the side repainting.
So knowing that I don’t really say NO to tough damage like this, and as the paint wasn’t broken, He sent me some pics and asked the question!

A few days later it turned up and we both had a little laugh about it! At best il straighten the door but not the 2 deep central dents…..

After stripping the door down I hooked uk the JVF Re tension system and straightened a lot of the door within 10 minutes!
I then repaired the outer edges of the panel before getting ready to tackle the deep dents.

I used a Power PDR shrinking device to painstakingly shrink the steel aswell as lifting up and knocking the area down with PDR tools,
It went well and to finish off the area I used the WoodPecker Monocle to really zoom into the fine detail of the paint and panel.

The results are amazing, a slight wobble but I saved this from the paintshop which is what my friend wanted!

Yes I was MAD to take this on, but I leant a ton of info from this repair….

After lots of comments regarding its cheaper to replace the door or repair. I contacted a professional bodyshop,
Here’s a rough price to replace, and paint the vehicle

▫️Door cost £620 +vat (cost price from vauxhall) expect to add 20% kontop for the bodyshop to earn profit
▫️Paint materials £698 +vat
▫️Labour rate £645 +vat
▫️Specialist costs (pre/post scan diagnostics) if required
120+vat
✅ Just short of £2500 inc vat
4-5 day turn around if thenparts are abailable….
My price was cheaper, and took less time also kept the vehilce in original condition. No new parts, filler or paint.
