After weeks of sanding and prep, it was finally time to get some paint on the Nova - but almost immediately, everything started going wrong. The paint ran and then the cheap gun gave up all together…and for a moment it genuinely felt like I’d just undone months of work.
This car has already been abandoned for decades, pulled apart, rebuilt, and pushed further than it ever should has been… and this mistake nearly set the entire project back.
But after a lot of stress, we managed to turn it around - and the transformation at the end makes it all worth it.
This might be one of the most satisfying visual changes the Nova has had so far.
