I Built a Log Cabin Through the Roots of a Fallen Giant Tree | Bushcraft Survival Shelter

Published at : 23 Dec 2025

In this video I’m building a log cabin through the roots of a fallen giant tree using bushcraft survival skills.

I cut an entrance directly through massive tree roots and built a wooden survival shelter on the trunk of a fallen tree, creating a unique log cabin integrated into the natural shape of the forest.

Watch as I carve the entrance and assemble the cabin step by step — using only natural materials and traditional bushcraft techniques. The roots act as a natural entrance, while the cabin itself provides warmth, protection, and camouflage.

This video is perfect for anyone interested in bushcraft, log cabins, survival shelters, and off-grid forest builds.
