How to safely check the Power Transformer on tube radio or amp.
The Power Transformer is a fundamental component of any tube / valve radio or amplifier. Powering up such equipment that has been stored for a while (sometimes decades) requires some checking for the sake of your health and that of the equipment itself.
This video may help you to confirm the state of your Power Transformer without excessive drama (or fire).
