Cassava was something I ate a lot growing up. We always cooked a lot and had lots of leftovers to fry. Everyone in my family looked forward to fried cassava for a snack the next day.

👩🏻🍳 FRIED CASSAVA
Cooking Directions: Peel cassava. Put enough water in pot to cover cassava. Bring to a boil. Add salt to taste. Reduce heat to medium, cover and let boil 10 minutes or until tender. Cool completely before frying. Slice cassava in 4 lengthwise pieces and discard stringy center piece. Fry in electric fryer set at 375F or 190C for 5 minutes. If you are frying on the stove top double the frying time.
