Hello , This video is about the diy process of Making a Dummy load tester for Amplifiers.Im Using 8Ohm 100W Power resistors with aluminium heatsink for maximum power dissipation while testing.There will be two channels with two 8ohm 100W resistors ,which can be set in parallel to give 4ohm 200W .Also if we connect both the channels in series we will get 8ohm 400W and if we connect both the channels in parallel we will get 2ohm 400W.With this Resistor Network Box I can easily test the Power of the Amplifiers.In this Video I have shown the full DIY process of making the Box and the connections.
Though the resistors are rated at 100W , the safe limit to push them would be half the rated Power i.e at 50W.
