While ball joints are designed to last a long time on a Jeep JL Wrangler or JT Gladiator, running big tires mounted on wheels with a lot less back spacing will cause them to wear out prematurely. Of course, this is especially true with factory ball joints as they have internal components that are made out of plastic and when they do wear out, they can cause loose steering, poor handling or worse, death wobble. Fortunately, replacing ball joints isn't that hard to do and as luck would have it, Synergy now makes heavy duty replacement joints that are greaseable and feature a 100% metal on metal design. In other words, they'll offer a much greater service life and at a price that isn't too cost prohibitive. In this video, I'll show you just how easy it is to change out your ball joints and for the most part, with just a basic set of tools.
A BIG THANKS needs to go out to Synergy for sending these us these ball joints for the purposes of testing and review.
