How To Decode L band Satellite ACARS and CPDLC messages with JAERO and your SDR

If you are interested in decoding ACARS signals from Inmarsat satellites, this episode will teach you what you need and how to do it.

Receiving signals from space is exciting, and monitoring Air Traffic Control CPDLC and general ACARS messages coming from far away is incredibly interesting.

I used a NooElec SMArtee Software Defined Radio for the making of this video (link below). However you can use any SDR that has a bias tee output.
