555 Timer IC (through hole not surface mount version)
KSP2222A or similar NPN transistor
R1 and R3 = 1k Ohm resistor
R2 = 10k Ohm resistor
R4 = 330 ohm resistor
C1 = 10uF or 220uF for fast or slow flash
LED
Stripboard
9 volt PP3 battery connector
