Hello, I am back again with another project! I have always been fascinated with handheld consoles and I always enjoyed dreaming about creating some of my own.
In the past, I have created some handhelds using Raspberry Pi's and other single board computers, but this time, I tried to challenge myself by using something a bit quirkier, an ESP-32 Microcontroller.
Using its strengths, I was able to create a Game Boy clone, which can emulate NES, Master System, GB, GBC and many more consoles, whilst having a great battery life!
This is not exactly a tutorial video, it is more like a vlog of my progress with this project in the past year. I also tried something new with the audio recordings so please let me know if my "cheerful" voice is something to keep :) I enjoyed making the video and the project a lot and I hope you guys like the video!
